She had colorful dreams...
Addicted to SheArt... these are so incredibly fun to do - I spent an hour in Michael's... and came out with some very fun things to use.
This girl is added to the Etsy shop - my first girl will be mine forever... but the rest will be up for grabs.

She was born to fly...
Another little canvas for the shop. I saw this dragonfly fairy photo in an Etsy shop - and couldn't resist her... so I bought it. And now she's mine to create over and over and over and... well, you get the idea.

SheArt...
A few weeks ago a very lovely lady that I met through Soul Restoration gifted me the class of SheArt, taught by a very talented artist named Christy Tomlinson. Not only did she gift me the class, she gifted 9 others... when she told me what she did, she added "well, I figure you can't take it with you". It didn't occur to me at that point that she really meant that... until I found out she was dying of cancer... and has been sent home from the hospital for her last days.
This generous woman's name is Teresa Potter. I was able to learn to do an incredibly fun piece of art due to her kindness. So I dedicate my first SheArt girl to Teresa... thank you. I know that God will let you feel all the love that is pouring out to you from all your Soul Restoration friends...
My heart is just breaking...

Probably...
my most significant layout EVAH. Many months ago, Rhonda posted a thread to me at the Dawg. It was a link to a layout on scrapbook.com. The layout was about the 12 Steps. It was done by a girl I didn't know, but I immediately contacted her via pm and told her what an inspiring layout it was, and I wanted her to know I was also a friend of bill's... and we struck up a beautiful friendship. Becky and I are in frequent contact, and I told her that I wanted to do my own layout about the Steps... but wasn't sure how to give her credit for the inspiration. I certainly didn't want to "OUT" her. LOL I'm so open and 'out there' with my sobriety, but that's ME... she responded back that she was just as open and said I could credit her any way I wanted to.
So Becky... thank you. Here is a link to her layout click here- the inspiration for mine. And here's a link to her blog - she's an incredibly talented artist.
And finally... here's mine. This was the most emotional layout I've ever done. I poured more love into this 12" x 12" stack of papers and embellishments than ever before.
Thank you for looking.

Imagine...
My latest canvas. I put it in Etsy and it lasted 30 minutes. :-) I love my friends... without them I wouldn't be in business. LOL
I had a lot of fun playing with technique on this one, learned a few things, covered a few mistakes with crackle paint... but I like the look of the verdigris embossing... I never know if I'm spelling verdigris right, but I think I am. ;-)

Hummingbirds!!!
I LOVE hummingbirds... We have a few that hang around our feeder and our flowers on the deck, and I am mesmerized by them. So when we got to choose our Digi Doodle stamp for our DT Challenge at JADS, I knew immediately which one I wanted. (it was still a hard choice though, so many great designs!!!)
I decided to do a 6" x 6" LO, using my tim holtz paper (any surprise there?). I spent my time in front of the tv last night in 5 year old girl heaven - coloring in my hummingbird.
Thanks for looking! Check out the great new challenge blog at JADS by clicking here... and the great digi stamps at Digi Doodle Shop by clicking here...
